About the site:
The above image is a picture I took of my favorite St. Petersburg street sign (yes, it's a real sign), with text added using Ulead PhotoImpact 4.0. This site is best viewed with IE 6.0 and a really big monitor, because that's what I have. (Because it's all about me, you know.)

About me:
I'm a 22-year-old college senior finishing up a journalism degree. Normally I attend the University of Wisconsin, but I spent the summer at the Middlebury Language School in Vermont and the fall in St. Petersburg (yes, the one in Russia), which is why there are a lot of pictures of onion domes. My real name's Lindsay, but since Russians seem to think that's not a name, I went by "Liusia" while I was abroad. My hobbies include being a huge geek and acting like a tremendous dork, but I may have to cut back on these pastimes, as they are taking time away from my true vocation: extreme nerdiness.

This summer I'm heading off to join Teach for America. Aieee.
